Hey there Friends, Family and Interested Folks,
I will now be posting my updates online in weblog form. Please subscribe! This is part of my digital overhaul. I’ll be making announcements about my updated acting website and my brand spanking new voice over site (with fresh demos) over the next few months.
Since my last update (fall ‘08) a lot has happened. I wrapped up a long run of Desperate Writers at the Edgemar Center for the Arts. My involvement with my theatre company (Interact Theatre Company) has steadily increased. In the spring I helped write a capacity plan for our company that helped us get CRA certified, and in May I became President of the company! We’re opening The Matchmaker by Thornton Wilder at the Victory Theatre Center in the fall. More info on that at a later date.
I’ve been working more and more in voice over, and I love it. Video game RAGE, a radio spot for The Underwear Affair (a fundraiser for cancers below the waist), several sessions on The Simpsons, and a recurring role on the radio show Adventures in Odyssey have carried me through to the summer. On top of voice over work I filmed a small role in feature Jason’s Big Problem and performed on stage for my theatre company’s annual festival of readings, InterACTivity ‘09. My most exciting booking this year was a pilot for ShadowMachine Films and Anonymous Content. I had a lead role in Well Traveled a hilarious and biting comedy about 5 travel hosts (I’m the food host) on the road reporting all the wrong things from their travels. It’s partially improvised (think Reno 911) and it was a ton of fun to film.
